Kevin Lawson brings more than three decades of leadership, public service, financial stewardship, and client advocacy to his role as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Franklin Loan Center.

A retired CAL FIRE Deputy Fire Chief, fully sworn Peace Officer, and former college instructor, Kevin dedicated over 32 years to serving communities throughout California. During his distinguished career, he held executive leadership positions responsible for managing multi-million-dollar budgets, overseeing complex operations, leading large teams, and making critical financial and strategic decisions affecting personnel, equipment, infrastructure, and public safety. These experiences developed the financial discipline, analytical skills, and accountability that now serve his mortgage clients exceptionally well.

Following his retirement from the fire service, Kevin transitioned into real estate, co-founding Ignite Real Estate alongside his wife, Leslie Lawson, a respected luxury real estate professional serving both Nevada and California. Through his work in real estate, Kevin gained extensive experience in residential transactions, property valuation, contract negotiations, and helping families navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Today, as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Franklin Loan Center, Kevin combines his background in executive financial management, real estate, and public service to provide clients with knowledgeable guidance throughout the lending process. His commitment to transparency, responsiveness, and personalized service reflects the same values that guided his fire service career—integrity, trust, accountability, and putting people first.
